Crab Nebula
Full description
In the year 1054, Europeans were at war over religious matters and the great schism between Rome and Constantinople was in full swing. Chinese astronomers, on the other hand, found a new bright star, so bright as to be visible during the day. It was a Supernova Explosion, and the remnant of that explosion is known today as the Crab Nebula (Why crab? Early observers thought it resembled a crab.). This picture was taken between November 15-16, 2022.
